Thanks guys, I like to do magic that is simple for laymen to understand. I usually don't like to use gimmicks, strike that I don't like to use gimmicks.

Can we get a list of things that you already have? This will definatly make it easier for us not to waste your time listing tons of things that you possibily already have.

By the way, Totally Out Of Control is amazing.

um... I don't have that much but I do know quite a bit. I am not a "n00b"

I know my way around Magic.

I do have the Trilogy.

Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic- Mark Wilson
Royal Road to Card Magic- Jean Hugard & Others
The Expert at the Card Table- Erdnase
Modern Coin Magic- Bobo
13 Steps to Mentalism- Corrinda

ALL of those books will run around 80 dollars totally and overwhelm you with magic for the next 5 years, minimum.

And if you also want to satisfy that "I want to learn something now from a DVD and not a book craving":

Get all of the above mentioned things except 13 Steps to Mentalism as that is more advanced than all the other books up there and instead get...

1.Darwins Encyclopedia of Thumb Tip Magic, a TT, and a silk

and

2. Any spongeball DVD along with some 1.5" or 2" spongeballs.

Really do take my advice on this one and at least try to get one of the books I mentioned, and if you can, all....that is, if you think you want to bring your magic to the next level :p.

~David

P.S. Anyone else get a kick out of reading the statement made right above this post....

Why don't you get what YOU want to get instead of something someone else wants you to get.

You took the words right out of my mouth (or the typing right out of my fingers, whatever you prefer). Those books (especially Mark Wilson's) are absolute necessities.

And yes, I did get a kick out of that previous statement. ;)
