If your completely new to coin magic then I would suggest a visual way to learn before getting into books which in the long run will be more productive... i would suggest you to get yourself a copy of Michael Ammars Complete intro to Coin Magic or Eric Jones Metal 1 and 2 (if your interested in gaff and gimmick work then you can get yourself vol. 3 eventually) after you get the basics down then I would suggest you get yourself a copy of Bobos Modern Coin Magic, this route will make learning and following along with the book way easier...

Yeah, Bobo's Modern Coin Magic is basically the prerequisite for most coin workers these days.
