Yes, I perform this quite regularly. I do it as more of a "hey, check this out" type of thing around friends, and I have never been caught. There is only one major angle that you have to be careful of but other than that, the angles aren't bad at all. And as for the number of people, I have done it for upwards of 10 people at once and everything was fine. With a little bit of audience management, you can get away with this every time.
