I think I will start filming my street magic, mentalism and illusions again in about 2 weeks. Until then I will read up on editing. Its not my strongest suit.

That is wonderful to hear. I hope you stick to that. I'm also hoping you (and everyone who posts videos on here, honestly) decide to start including audiences in the videos, as well--that's why we perform, after all, isn't it? For audiences, not for cameras?
it was a little dark, and would be better with audience & presentation.
Also, give me a good reason why you post them hear if you don't listen to criticism? I think you would be one hell of a magician if you listened.

Your right thats why we perform. Before I started posting my videos here I had really never considered it. Now I realize that it may make me look better if I did.

Hey guys. There is A TON of negativity in this thread. I'm leaving it open for now, but let's just try to be kind. If the negativity continues, I'll obviously be forced to lock this thread.

It looks good on camera, but when your specatators see some guy with a fishing rod leviating the card. I dont think it will be received well.

Ok after reading all the post here i think i speak for everyone when i say this.
We don't like it when you post your videos because when we give you feedback you don't listen but yet countie to post more. Anther reason we get mad at you is because we want to see you present the trick and do it infront of a audince.
If you do that, then i think everyone will respect you ALOT more.

Why can't people actually read what is being said by members who have been involved in previous threads created by Mystifier? I don't mean to bash, but people come in here asking why we are all so negative towards Mystifier, when they don't know the history of the whole affair.
I have been involved in every thread started by Mystifier and here is the plain and simple truth, AND EVERYONE READ THIS (especially those asking why we are being so negative).
Mystifier came on here post his videos. In his first thread we members offered well thought out constructive criticisms of his video. I would say that only one or two were inappropriate, but they were not from any members in good standing.
Then, Mystifier posted another thread showcasing another video. People started asking him, after viewing the video, why he did not apply any of the advice given. People were also annoyed that he was claiming himself to be the most amazing magician on YouTube and that he had amazing, revolutionary effects that "had never been seen before!" Although there were more negative posts, still the majority were constructive criticism.
As of now, he has posted over six threads, with videos that DO NOT apply any of the criticism we have given. They are all the same and frankly we are tired of it. He is creating clutter on this forum, and we just want it to stop.
In his last thread, many members asked, in fact begged, that he be banned because of his constant posting claiming to be "an amazing magician who has revolutionary ideas". Also, because he did not take any advice and is really taking up room on this forum.
I was one of the members that gave him extensive constructive criticism all the way to his third thread. But, now I am just sick and tired of it. With that, and as a member in good standing, I respectfully request that the moderators ban him, as all he creates is contention. Thanks and peace!

There is a very big distinction between famous and infamous. Just because entire books were written about Ted Bundy does not mean what he did was "art."
I'm quite sure the people he "touched" were not positively affected.
Page count means nothing.

It might be foolish to disregard all of the advice given from other members, but I don't think that is any reason for a ban.
Again, claiming to be "revolutionary" is no reason to ban someone. There are countless other members here who make just as - if not more - ludicrous claims.
Wouldn't it be easier to simply avoid the REPLY button? Let the thread sink into the depths, if that is your wish. It will happen on its own.

I can't remember if the thread is still around anymore, but the people that were apart of this will remember it, it's word for word.
