Manufacturer's Write Up:

EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) are electronic recordings interpreted as voices from the dead or other paranormal sources. Alan Rorrison's latest masterpiece, EVP, allows you to seemingly harvest voices from the other side and make them answer the questions of your spectator ON THEIR PHONE. Your shell-shocked spectator will leave the encounter with the likely evidence of a spirit's voice on their phone, as they replay it over and over, in utter disbelief.

How accurate is the ad copy?

Very accurate, this is exactly what happens

What's in the box?

A url and passcode for the downloadable teaching and the device.

Key points:

Can be used with any spectator's smart phone. You will be able to make fully customizable spirit voice responses in any language or gender. The device is easy to carry, always ready to go and beginners to top pros can use it.

How are the production values:

Awesome! Shot in HD, live performance and multiple studio performances are offered.

Is it well made:

This is professionally engineered technology that would be difficult for the average performer to replicate.

Is it well taught:

You get everything, teaching for both PC and MAC users, spirit question ideas, short sleeve and even a tshirt option setup, and over an hour of instruction.

My thoughts:

This is an awesome utility, Murphy's Magic and Alan Rorrison have thought of everything; and after watching it, and playing with it a few times you should be ready to go.

Storage? Does it "pack flat?"

Despite the huge box that it comes in, the utility is remarkable small and lightweight. It could be carried on your person all day long with little impact or discomfort.

How practical is this in the real world? Does it "play big?"

Almost "too big." There are several warnings on the DVD that this effect has the potential to actually scare people and convince them that this is a real occurrence and not a "trick."

How original is this idea?

Séance style tricks where a medium talks to the dead have been around for hundreds of years however, what Allan has done is created a unique convincer that is both highly impactful, but .... examinable. Remember, this happens with a spectator's phone and they get to keep the audio file forever!

Overall score: 10/10
