Favorite Edition of the Smoke and Mirrors?

We all know that the elusive smoke and mirrors are the sexiest cards ever conceived but what is your opinion on them? What edition is your favorite for fanning? Flourishing? Favorite design? Edition that you missed and always wanted??

Favorite for fanning???
My favorite by far is the Luxury 3rd edition, especially the mirror with the black borders. They fan like a dream when ever I open them.

Favorite for flourishing?
Definitely the newest 5th edition the blue denim. They spread like butter and stay together for cuts.

Favorite design??
My favorite design is the 2nd edition . Ive been looking for them everywhere but i havent been able to find any decks for sale. I love the intricate design around the DD in the middle. Oh well. It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all.

To be honest with you, the first and third edition were the best. Second was good too. That being said, I think 4th and 5th edition were TERRIBLE (at least compared to the first 3 editions) Back then they had the awesome designs on the back and they were two seperate decks, smoke AND mirrors, it made sense. Now it's totally different.

I really have no problem with the newer editions but I don't think they should have called them smoke&mirriors seeing as they took off pretty much all of the back design; it's pretty much a different deck of cards all together.

I think they need to go back to the original back designs of smoke&mirrors. They can continue with their variations on the s&m cards such as the 4th and 5th edition but they need to call it something different.

Just my 2 cents. lol

V3- Very VERY ELEGANT deck!!! Black for me more beautiful, then white for all 3 versions in S&M!
V5- not shipped for me, but when they came to me, I think it AWESOME!
