What Sean Says

Sean Fields’ Fusion is regarded by many as the finest torn & restored card effect in existence!

Imagine tearing a signed, chosen card into 4 pieces; they clearly see THEIR card being destroyed. They clearly see 4 individual pieces. Now imagine their faces as you slowly, and visibly restore their card, 1 piece at a time!

Bring 2 of the pieces near each other, and they visibly FUSE together! Show the card, front and back; it really is restored! With the same uncanny fairness, you bring another piece towards the card; it also visibly fuses together!

The last piece is brought near the card, and with just a rub, it too is seen to restore itself! Show the card front and back, it is truly restored. Let them check it out. Now for the finale...

Show the card front and back. Lay the card on your palm, and begin to visibly ERASE the creases! This looks ridiculous! Not content, Turn the card towards you, and VISIBLY pull the signature off, leaving the card in immaculate condition!

Sean walks you step by step through THREE approaches to this effect, as well as the KILLER finale!

Fusion Classic
The original handling, refined with new techniques and finesse, including The Fusion Illusion, one of Sean’s most closely guarded secrets! Shared with very few, this unorthodox addition will have you shaking your head in disbelief!
FU2
The underground sensation! An impromptu method to achieve the Fusion effect, FU2 is one of Sean’s most requested effects, and is finally being taught on video!
Fusion Remixed
An exciting new handling of Sean’s original effect! This is Sean’s favourite handling for Fusion!
Fusion Finale
A brilliant approach to COMPLETELY restoring the card, by removing the creases, AND the signature! Based on a concept by David Fulde, Sean’s handling will make you grin with satisfaction!

What I say:

Being primarily mentalist a TNR, in theory should not be the first thing on my mind. However when I saw this I just had to have it. Don't get me wrong I still love magic and show a few magic effects to friends and family, but mentalism just appeals to me more and it is the area that I make a living. Having already known the method for the original Fusion and FU2 it was not until I saw the performance of Fusion Remix that my interest sky rocketed.

I will give a brief overview of the first two effects but mainly concentrate on Fusion remix.

Fusion
This is a very nice looking TnR, If you know the method there are a few things added to make it more deceptive. There is nothing really to say about this as it looks a little nice to magicians than most TnR's but most laymen won't notice the difference. It does however require something extra that would cost maybe a dollar for a whole deck worth of the effect. But it does have the advantage of being more cost effective than most TnR (buy it you will know what I mean).

FU2
An impromptu TnR, Looks a little less open than fusion but about the same as most TnRs. It is a clever idea and great for being thrown in the deep end, However it is a little harder and not as open as the other two methods. Nice method nice effect but it gets over shadowed but the other two methods.

Fusion Remix
This is the ultimate TnR to date. You need the same gimmick as in the original Fusion however this takes it to a whole new level. Everything they say in the product overview is spot on no stretching the truth. I will now just list all of the pros;
- The spectator can hold a quarter of the card
- At every restoration the front and back can be shown.
- At the 3/4 restoration the card can be handed out.
- The final restoration is done face out and open handed.

Fusion finale
You repair the card first the creases and secondly the signature aswell. Nothing short of amazing

Sean then gives some amazing insights on the handling and different presentational approaches all of which should be used at the right time.
