HAOM Banquet?

Any people in the Texas area plan to be performing close-up at the February 15th HAOM ( Houston Association of Magicians) Banquet? I'll be there performing. For more info, check out Magicbookshop.com or Houstonmagic.com. There are supposed to be 30I40 close-up guys operforming, so you better get a slot before they're all gone.

I see no information about the forthcoming banquet on either site. And what does one get for performing at the banquet?

there will be more information to come in the upcoming weeks. as for what you get, you get a free ticket to the stage show (i think) as well as free dinner and you also get your name put out there. staff also films as well. there are usually news reporters interviewing, from when i went last February. this year will be different.. last feb, there were like 6 performers o close up, and they went into seperate rooms with a large table in front and about 20-30 people seated watching. the performers would do a 10 minute performance, then rotate rooms for another performance.

I got another email from. Scott Wells, he stated that we'd be doing strolling close up at the dining tables instead of private rooms. The dining area is where the stage is. There's about 40 tables
