ok im making an effect where the chosen card needs to be on the bottom of the deck but i need to be able to show the bottom and top card as a different card. any advise or sleights or something. anything will be appreciated.

have their selection on top. Do a double lift to show it isn't on the top and show the bottom card. Then contorl their card to the bottom, its not perfect but it gets the job done.

Is the card lost in the middle first?

if it is then give this a try.

hold a break above the chosen card. show the bottom and top cards of the deck. then say that the card is lost somewhere in the deck. as you say that spread through the deck to kinda show that their card is somewhere in there. then, cull their card to the bottom.

yea, thats kinda impractical. you could also try the glide.

While the card is still on bottom show the top card then cop/palm the bottom card as you turn over the deck with your right hand as you turn your left* hand down so the card is in no way peaking out. As you turn the deck over, separate it from the other hand a few inches so all eye attention will be there then simply turn the hands back and meet so the card refits on the bottom of the deck.

* I made an assumption of you doing a cop/palm in the left hand. If you don't then simply reverse the hands.

Someone else dismissed the best idea so far. Control it to the bottom and glide it home.

Depending on what you need to do from the bottom...you can false shuffle it next to the bottom. If you need you can palm off the bottom card and get it to the top or something similar.

or

With it next to the bottom-if your misdirection skills are keen-you can show the top card, show the bottom and then half pass the deck, keep talking and draw their attention while flipping it over onto the top...it's something you could try.
