Hoyle Maverick Playing Cards

I used to own a deck of these.....when I was around 7...

I still love their back designs. I forgot how they felt though.

Any reviews? I got them at a local store for $1.00. But now, on the net its about $25.00 for a brick.

i never tried maverick but i use sometimes the hoyle and i really love it it feels me a little bit like arrco i love it and the hoyle is very very cheap in my local magic store it is around 3 usd ...

Mavericks are good for beginning flourishers or people who want cards that stay together well. The finish feels like plastic, and they stick. If you want these just to look at the backs, go ahead. If you want these to do magic with, don't buy them.

I just went to a Family Dollar, and found some for $1.00 each. I bought half a brick.

For a buck, they are really nice.
