I Had a Fun Trip to the Magic Shop Today

Well a couple of days ago I found out that one of my favorite performers of magic (sounds less hokey than saying magician) would be lecturing tonight at California Magic and Dinner Theater. Today before school I packed up my two DVDs of his and went to school. After school instead of going straight home. I took a detour to Cal Magic. I walked in and looked around for a while. I saw Wayne Houchin and asked him if he would sign Stigmata (from E) and Distortion He was very nice and took the time to sign both DVDs. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

Hopefully I can buy tickets for the lecture tonight. I can't go unless I get all my homework done though, so I have go!

Im happy for you. it mustve been exciting to meet Wayne. Its good that you didnt skip school- I did to meet the Bucks. dont regret meeting him, but it was a rare chance. (met one of em. long story. dont ask. but i met Dan =D)
 
i have a question and dont want to start a new tread so im gonna ask it here. Would it be wierd if i go to a lecture alone without knowing anyone there, because i dont have any magic friends (loner). Or should i just go with my dad

Lectures are a great way to magic card friends, I would just go by my self, and see who says hello =)

The lecture was great. He taught some great effects, and gave a lot of really great advice about performance which has helped me a lot. If you have a chance to see him lecture---go. You won't regret it.
