For those that have performed Distortion...any tips on what lighting conditions are ideal so the spectators do not see the gimmick?
It seems rather obvious to me (as someone in another thread had mentioned) but I know it may not be obvious to the spectators. Has anyone been called out on the gimmick yet?

Seriously, lighting is no issue. I've done it in sunlight many times and have never been called out on it. If you position yourself so that it's in your shadow and keep it moving like Wayne says, you'll be fine.
