Hi everyone.
I discovered Theory 11 at its very beggining, I often ordered on this site, but i never went to the forum.
I read some topics and I found really cool stuff, I think from now I will be more present.

My name is Gaël Dewas and I've been a magician for 6 years now. I started cardistry six months after i got into magic, at 14.
I learned mainly with Daniel Madison, Dan and Dave, Andrei Jikh, De'vo and some tutorials on Decknique, but for a time I felt like I was not elvolving at all.
A year ago I decided to rework what I already knew and to learn new flourishes. I tried to create and explore new possibilities with cards but this is hard, you know what I mean.
Anyway Last month a photograph friend of mine helped&filmed me to finally make my first video that I have been waiting for a loooooong time.
Here is the result:

The music was made by my friend Johnny_Ripper, we sampled cards and magic stuff sounds, and all the percussions are made with it.
Here is his soundclound for them who want to check it out: https://soundcloud.com/johnny_ripper

The video editing is all made by myself (To tell you the truth I have never touched a video editing software before, I made it in 3 days with Sony Vegas Pro 12)

I would like to have some feedback from you guys, I know that what I do is not extremely original, but I have already new ideas for a next video.

Thanks!

I really liked it. The editing was really nice, I can't believe you have never done that before. It was cool how you mixed in some coin stuff, and made it so it is not just big two handed cut after two handed cut. Also, you made it so it was not just staring at someone's hands. We could actually see you. All of this makes a very nice video in my opinion. I do not know a lot on flourishing, but I liked the video and am looking forward to some more from you. Very nice job on this one.

Thanks a lot for your feedback Junkbox. Yes I decided to not just film my hands with only one angle doing cardistry, since I am more of a magician than a cardist, and because I wanted it to be pleasant to watch for everyone, even non-cardists/illusionists.
I am really glad you enjoyed it, it encourages me.
