Make Believe

Hello all,

I just got back from the cinema after taking my girlfriend to see a really nice film called Make Believe. It's a documentary following some young magicians as they gear up for performing head to head at the World Magic Seminar.

Anyway, I'm not going to tell you much more about it because I can't stand it when someone tells me too much about a film I haven't seen.

So, it's a really nice film about magic with great general appeal (non-magical girlfriend loved it). Being a small-budget, independent documentary it's not going to be doing a week long run at your local multiplex anytime soon but I would highly recommend you take a look at it.

I saw the film when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival... in short, brilliant. It was inspiring, relateable, and it played well to all of the magicians and laypeople in the audience alike. See it any way you are able to.
