I don't know if any of you heard of them before but I found these really cool notebooks called "Moleskines" at my Borders. They're really cool; pages are thread-bounded, high-quality acid-free paper, neat ribbon book-mark, a strap to keep the book closed, and nice leather backs. There's also different kinds of MoleSkines.

The only thing I didn't like was that the pages were VERY thick. But, oh well. Next time I go, I'll be getting a cheap and smaller version like these:

For those of you who likes to take notes a lot, I'd highly recommend these Moleskines. It's so much more aestheticly pleasing than your average notebook and the pen feels so much smoother and easier on your hands. I think it makes writing funner!

Oh man, don't even get me started. I love these things. I've got one where I keep all my ideas for tricks, different methods, etc. They're perfect. The size, weight, the quality of the paper. It's as if they were made for magic. Everyone owes it to them self to get one.

They're kind of expensive, but the quality is top-notch.

They are expensive; 16$ for mine but boy, they feel soooo good.

By the way, which one did you get?

What's soooo off-topic about it? Jeez, maybe you don't take notes all the time but SOME OF US DO.

These notebooks are some of the highest quality notebooks I could find.

If you don't like the thread, then don't post twice about how "Off-Topic" it is :mad:

This will sound stupid, but the notebooks themselves are just really cool and magical looking. They make you want to translate your magic secrets into a cipher, "The Prestige" style.

I've been carrying around the reporter style one since the middle of last year. They are awesome, and I refuse to use any other kind of notebook after these. The thick pages make it so your writing doesn't bleed through to the other side.

Now, I'll make this no longer "off-topic." :p

The reporter style notebook is absolutely AMAZING for The Devils Touch.
