need help finding prop

I am looking for a pair of magic markers, one permanent, and one dry erase, that look similar or if possible, identical. I need these to perform a coin transpo effect. Stores like walmart dont carry any one brand that makes both. Does any one (maybe outside the usa) know of any thing like this?

If you can find two markers that have similar ink cartridges, then you can take one from, say, the dry erase marker and put it in a regular marker, so they match (or vice versa).

Not saying it'll guaranteed work, or what brands use similar sized ink cartridges, but it's something to play around with.

you could probably make your own pretty easily. just use the same case and replace the ink cartridge inside. You could also use a larger sharpie, and remove the interior and tip and put a smaller dry erase within and with a little handywork you could make it look pretty good.

how do you even open a sharpie

depends, if your just looking to open it, uncap it, grab the colored end that was covered and keep working it and pulling till it pops out. if your looking to take it out and then replace it, you have to be a bit more careful and delicate, also adding heat can help, whether thats a heat pad, hot water, or a hair dryer to make the plastic more flexible and plyable but make sure you dont let it cool down malformed
