Need Help! Magic Castle Audition in 4 Months

I'm so excited. I have 1 Q, though. I will be combining Revolution and a trick I made up together in a routine. Here is that trick:

I choose spectator,and spectator picks a card. Then he or she sign selected card, and places it into the deck. I shuffle and then they shuffle. I ask them to find their card only for them to realize it's not in the deck. I show both hands/ pockets empty and after a bit of magic pull it out of my pocket. After that I guess the card they chose.

What I want to know is......
How could I go about doing that and make it fit together well???

You don't have to create a trick, just use a good effect that you own. None of them at the junior program create there tricks.

I know, but I just decided to use one of my created ones along with a trick called revolution which I didn't create in a routine.
