NOTTINGHAM PDF 1
Charred: Not an effect I've messed around with, but in principle it looks great. If you like the napkin divination effect, you'll like this. Good method, very interesting.
AC Change: A weird change, but I kinda like it. It's different from any chance I've seen. The card is changed with a wave of the hand in the middle of the deck. It's very visual and impossible looking, sort of like a Cardini in the middle of the deck, sidejogged. Weird.
Bottom Switch: A one-for-one switch. Looks clean, and I like it. For a straight up control, it's great. I like the method, very straightforward.
Tenkai Prep: A Jones-esque way of getting into Tenkai. I'm going to work on this, as it might be useful in close situations where only one hand is available.
TC Change: You lay a card down on the deck and it changes. I like this one, as the applications are numerous. The change is good, once again Cardini-ish, but unusual and different. It will catch the audience off guard. A good change overall, one of my favorite moves from this PDF. 7.5/10
NOTTINGHAM PDF 2
LB Reveal - A card reveal inside a lightbulb. Though not my kind of magic, it looks like a great idea.
Corner of Water - Basically a reveal in a water bottle. This has more applications, in my opinion, then LB Reveal. It's friendlier in method. It's got a lot of potential.
Coin Thru - A coin through a deck of cards. I like this. It requires a small gimmick but it's worth it. It's simple and straightforward. It's very visual as well.
4x4 Transpo - This is a very, very nice, clever transposition of four cards for four cards (for instance, jacks and aces). It's very visual, unbelievable, and sleightly amazing! It's very well constructed in method. This is definitely something I'll use.
Q Change - A very visual color change, a variation on a basic method. This looks really nice and really clean, one of the simplest and most visual color changes out there.
Coin to Card - A card location using a coin. Very different and well thought out. This is an odd piece of magic I can see myself using to liven up old routines.
Smear - You smear the pip of a card or even a spectator's signature. This seems a little gimmick heavy, but it looks amazing. To be able to visually, openly smear a signature is amazing. A great effect for a finale or walk around.
PIERCE
This is a card to box effect. It's very visual and has two versions, gimmicked and nongimmicked.
The first version is slightly more visual in my opinion, but the impromptu can hold its own.
Basically, a card is selected and lost in the deck. You place the cards on top of the card case, which is shown to be empty. You shake the deck a little bit, and the selection visually penetrates downwards through the deck and into the card case.
I love this. It's going to get a lot of mileage from me.
Cody teaches everything you need to know in the PDF. It's super visual and amazing. 9/10.
SURPASS CONTROL
This is a control that is very clean and simple. You square up the cards and instantly have control over a single selected playing card. You can use this as an open control, packet control, cull or palm. I love this control, and it's very easy to master and accomplish. If you want a worker control that's undetectable and simple, look no further. 9.2/10.
G.O.N.E.
G.O.N.E. is a deck vanish that is mind-blowing. It's visual - you actually see the deck vanish to nowhere. It requires some work, but the end result is powerful and unbelievable. This is one of the best tricks I've seen in a while. Props. 8/10.
That about concludes the series, but any more PDFs Cody is nice enough to send me will go in here.
Amazing stuff. 10/10 overall.
