Pandora Help

So I've been flourishing for about half a year now...
And I've decided to attempt to learn Pandora, taught on Dan and Dave's Trilogy.
Maybe I'm not experienced enough, but I figured it was worth a try.
And I started having trouble with the first part.
Where you have to use the base of your thumb to make a third packet.
Basically, instead of making two packets from the second packet, I just end up fanning out the second packet.
Which is cool, but not what I intend to do.
Any tips that people can give me for this?

I dont quite understand where youre having trouble, which one is the second packet? the one held by your middle and thumb? What part of Cali are you from man?

What's basically happened is you haven't worked you deck in enough. I't too slippery and as you are new at flourishing you aren't able to properly do cuts with such slippery. I'd recommend breaking in the deck and practicing more, people may say this but practice gets rid of 90% of all problems.

Yeah, the one held between the middle finger and thumb of the right hand.
And I'm from the Bay Area.
