Ok I am doing a rope performance very soon and are there any ways to make the ends more professional. I have the tape on the ends and do not like it that way. I do not want to burn them, tape, tie them with other string. My rope does not have hollow middles (I know that is not the right word) so I can not tuck them in. I do not want to buy something. Glue sounds a little weird please help me

just a suggestion that you might not have thought of. you said you didnt want to wrap other thread around the ends, but if you're using white rope, you could tape a few black threads and tie them around each end.it keeps them from fraying and it looks "pro" too.

Something me and my friends do if you are using magicians soft rope - Tuck the ends inside of it self. They are rounded and look nice.

You could always do what Tommy Wonder suggested and dip them in collodian.
