What's up guys! I hope you all have had a fantastic weekend thus far. Mother's Day is tomorrow, or today for all of you overseas. We want tonight's contest to keep your mom in mind. How will you do it?

Tonight's challenge is very simple: give a short explanation (or long if you want!) on how your mother inspires you. That's it! This day is all about the mothers, so we wanted this to be very easy and to let all of you celebrate and enter without worrying about completing a challenge.

All submissions should be posted in response to THIS forum thread by no later than 11:00pm EST tomorrow, Sunday, May 10th.

What's the prize, you ask? We will select a submission at random to take home 3 decks of Monarch Summer Edition Playing Cards and 1,000 Elite Points!

My mother has been in my corner since I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. A rough mental health diagnosis to battle. She has encouraged me to take my medication and go to my appointments .... Although at times I relinquish her kind demands, I realize that she is always striving to better herself, not only to help herself, but to set a standard for her kids. She acts as the weather and shines my days and sometimes rains on it. This is all for the greater good to show that life is not all sunshine. Since I have been battling mental health, I have tried to learn from her everything I can.... And she is a great teacher, on all things garden and art. She does a lot of work in pen but also in pencil. I love my mother, no matter how much she confuses me. She always gives me feedback on my videos which helps tremendously. She gives me support and inspires me very much. Happy Mothers Day Maria Timmerman!!

Whether I was five years old or thirty-five, she’d be the first person I’d call with a problem. Not because she has all the technical answers, but because she’d have the perspective that reminds me who I actually am. Thank you mom!
 
My mom has always been there for me. She encourages me to do my best and always supports me when I need her. I hope to be able to be there for her when she needs me as well. Happy Mother's Day Mom!
 
Whatever or whoever I am today is all because of her, how she raised me, she passed away back in 2010, I don't like talking abt my parents at these days cuz I get too emotional so yeah that's it
 
I have been struggling a lot of alcohol addiction and my mother was the only one who managed to get through this hell with me. Always supporting me and always believing that I will manage to make it. 3 months sober now all thanks to her.
 
My mum inspires me to keep learning - she's always looking for knowledge and keen to take new stuff on board. Happy Mothers Day!

Mom's dedication to pursuing her passions, as well as lifting up the lives of all around her (especially me) inspire me every day.

Not to mention, she's always impressed when I show her a new effect :)!
 
My mom inspires me by always being open to change and learning new ways of doing things. She's a great role model for me and my brothers. Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms!
 
My mom helped parent me and 9 other kids, making her probably the most amazing and patient woman in the world. If I've ever met a saint, it's my mom.
 
My mother is the kindest soul I know. Her greatest feature is how much she radiates happiness everywhere she goes! She worked with the public for a long time, and know how hard it can be, so she always does her best to be the least annoying person as possible, and to give a smile to everyone :) She made me realize very soon in my life how far making people smile can bring you :)

my mom has always protected me always made my feel like i am in the safest place in the world no matter where , she has taught me everything ! she is a very kind soul , she tries to find beauty in everything , she inspires me everyday

My mother taught me that real strength is often quiet. Through difficult moments and ordinary days alike, she’s always carried more than anyone noticed and still found ways to give warmth, patience, and care to the people around her. No matter how much time passes, that kind of love leaves a permanent mark on who you become.
 
My mother inspires me with her perseverance when she was able to start her own business. She always teaches me that the magic is in love, patience, and kindness.
