can someone recommend a cheep place to get morgan size dollar coins or replicas . im not looking for really expensive coin set yet because im new to this and as you know i will be dropping them and causeing damage .

First, see what you are looking for.

Second, go online and watch the silver prices for a few weeks.

Right now, Liberty and Franklins are at a melt value of around $6.50

Your best bet is to buy a roll and pick out the ones you want, then sell the rest.

Most likely local shops are a bit pricey, but I generally will use eBay.

However, the running price for Morgan culls at a melt price is around $15-$25


For the Morgan coins, I would call some local coin shops, or just keep looking online.

Dude I would just get some Eisenhowers unless you really want to spend that much more money. The spectators don't care whether they're Morgans or Eisenhowers, they just care about the size of the coin!

thanks guys ye the Eisenhowers looks like a good idea think that will be a good one to start with . i ve already got half dollars but wanted a dollar size coin . i live in the uk as well so us coins are a bit more expensive
