I am thinking of buying the effect SPIKE. But i was just wondering if it would last a life time. And is it worth the price. And is the gimmick last a lift time too.

Well I guess it depends on the version. My dad and I just recently made one ourselves and it cost about $30-$40 so it was well worth it.
