Yes that's very true. But if I want to talk with my wonderfully inspiring magician friends online when I'm taking a dump, it's not really mutually exclusive with performing magic is it?

Just because people want a mobile forum, doesn't mean they we will be using it when they're out.
As David said, taking a dump is fine time to browse the forums on your iPhone, or just watching TV and dont want to go to the computer, or whip out the laptop, while on public transport, etc.
