I believe that you are performing a unpolished version of tony chang's "changE", obviously that change is a lot more complex but you get the idea.

I agree that this is very similiar to a shabby ChangE.
And the concept isnt new either.
Dont think its exposure as its... just basic knowledge. Show a card, steal, change. Though this is often used, what makes your change different from any other? The winter change, side steal, or anything that looks like you rub a card and it changes for the matter.
 
I can assure you the methodology is different. As I independently discovered it, I know how to perform it, obviously.

And for being smooth, the video was a bit choppy in some parts, but the change went across quite well. And the idea is to snap your fingers and have the card change.

You know, I was looking for some positive feedback. Obviously this is not the place to go.

Dude we are telling you the truth, what else do you want? Do you expect us to lie to you and say "good job!! that was the most amasing color change I have seen!@ it even beats the clipshift by miles!"

We are being honest. The method is quite obvious, props for thinking about it alone, but as we have said, it has already been done.

I accidentally discovered the gambler's cop like one week before I owned "dangerous" by D+m. I swear I felt like a god just before discovering that the move wasn't new.

I was just like you when I first got on the forums, I did not take critisicm well, I think I take t better now, hopefully, you will learn too. You will get positive feedback where it is due.
I'm not going to lie to you and tell you it was good.
I felt the whole thing was choppy and it did not look very magical, but if you want to go get some good feedback talk to David J. Castle or someone he is a very great magician and you can tell how much he practices.

I agree. It's exactly the same as ChangeE, and wasn't done as well. I congratulate you for coming up with it on your own, but it just isn't original. Nobody's tying to bash you, we are giving you constructive criticism, but if you don't want it, by all means don't take it...but that's a foolish decision.

So I'll give you what you want. "Good job! Never seen a change like that before! Very magical and totally blew me away!"

I've had similar happenings to me, so don't take it so hard. I came up with the side steal (as a control) and I thought it was going to be a ground breaking idea. I found out it was already done, and was disappointed. Just take the constructive criticism, and don't complain because we aren't lying to you just to make you feel good.

Again, props for creativity!

Buddy, if you're looking for positive feedback, don't post anything until you have it down perfect. I mean, PERFECT. Trust me, I did the same thing two years ago and posted everything that I learned without really practicing. I regret it, as it never fooled anyone and I could've been undoubtedly smoother. I used to be where you're at right now. Just take a year or so without posting videos. Practice a LOT. Then come back and you'll see just how much better you are. I took two years off from posting videos and am considering taking maybe an extra one or two years off as well, as I don't feel like I'm good enough to make them in the first place. Just know, we're not trying to insult you in any way, but the contrary. We're only helping you. Take our advice or don't, but definitely don't always expect positive feedback when your work isn't as polished as it should be.
