For Jamie Grants Vault, since it is made of brass, would you need to occasionally clean it to keep its look and luster? Does it varnish easily?

That is a very good question....I hadn't thought of that. It wouldn't surprise me if it does. If I notice a need for periodic cleaning I'll update the review. There is ,what looks like, a protective coating of some sort on the outside of the Vault. That my minimize the need for cleaning.
