Title of Effect

Hey all,

Just had a question regarding an effect that I've seen, but can't seem to find the name of. The effect is basically that the magician borrows a bill from the audience, the bill is signed, and then "accidentally" destroyed in a portable paper shredder. But the bill is revealed in one way or another to be unharmed at the conclusion of the trick.

Here are a few separate clips of Justin Kredible performing the effect (not in full)

First Part

Second Part

I just curious if this was a published effect, or one of Justin's original creations. I've found tidbits of this effect mentioned in various places; it looks very entertaining and I would love to perform it, or something similar.

Thanks

Come now grasshopper, you know better than that. . .

There are numerous version to the Mutilated Dollar Bill and all that's required is some means by which to switch out one bill for either a dummy or a duplicate and ring in the mate or original in the finale'. You will find versions of this in the Darwin Thumb Tip book, manuscripts on using a Bill Tube and I do believe there's some notes pertaining to the old Money Maker effect (HINT: it could be made to look a lot like a Paper Shredder).

@ William. . . Bank Night is more of a roulette routine that sometimes has a confabulation aspect to it. One of the better known commercial versions is Larry Becker's CASINO ROYALE.
