The cards are only worth that much because they are rare. In all seriousness, go to the convenience store closest to you and buy Bicycles (USA) or Tally-Hos (UK)

thanks i do use bikes i was just wondering... plus i am new to card magic

Don't bother buying Jerry's Nugget cards unless you're a card collector. They won't make you do magic/flourishes better. They last longer than a regular deck but with the money needed for one deck of Nuggets you can get out 60 Tallys which will last a hell of a lot longer than a deck of Jerrys.

I guess you should waste your money on one if you're a hardcore Dan and Dave fanboy. (not that there's anything wrong with Dan and Dave)

That's a rather irresponsible use of the fanboy label imo, but you're right in the first half. They won't make people better flourishers or magicians; but there are many situations where judgmental preconceptions are not applicable.

because they are awsome

I think you spent over rated wrong :p
They maybe good but for 150 dollars no 54 or so cards are worth that! At the end of the day there not gonna make you any better or worse at magic or cardistry.
The other half is there rare, which is reasonable enough if any collectors prepared to pay that for their collection.

Yeah, you're right kendonaga. As far as just 54 pieces of paper go, it's not worth it. Nonetheless it may well be worth it/hold value for a few reasons... For collectors for collections... Some people simply like being able to say that they own/have owned/felt/used one... Because they are rare, or simply having enough money... As bad as the latter few sound, they're still reasons why people might consider getting one and consider it worth it.
