Wooden Tuck Cases

So my Tech - Ed teacher lets us decide what we want to make in the wood-shop. I'm planning on making a tuck case out of wood. Has anyone attempted to make one, and if so do you have the plans? I'm not sure how much bigger the case needs to be compared to the deck.

Another thought, has anyone ever made a large wooden Die Box? Same questions, however this one should be simpler to draw up, and I could probably make it.

I am putting the finishing touches on my Tuck case made out of playing cards. I should have it done by tomorrow.

But unlike most of my card sculptures I did it without Blue Prints/Plans...............

Measure the cards, create the case that's about 1 mm larger, for clearance.

Ok thx. I'm just not sure, because the end result would be that height, but the wood has its own thickness. I guess I would add the thickness of the wood?
