Kodak Opener

Alix Becle

Digital Instruction $0.99
Special Thanks: Thomas Maten, Tobias Levin, Oliver Sogard.

Kodak is an opener I created in April 2014. It is an opener I struggled wretchedly with for about one month as I could not utilise it in a move I was complacent with. After time of being vacuous, 3 moves I am now proud of surged from my mind. Calcifer, Temper and Trap are the moves sporting the Kodak opener. The three moves are taught from different angles with helpful animation text boxes to help you if you're ever lost. The total duration of the tutorials is of over 6 minutes. I hope you enjoy learning these moves as much as I enjoy performing and teaching them.

Alix, the concept is really great, but the explanation is a bit poor, you go too fast, and I had to replay a lot of times to understand. I'm giving it three stars because I liked the concept, you should slow down a bit, and maybe attempt a verbal tutorial in the next one. You can get it with a little practice, and it's just a buck, or maybe some elite points. If you like the flourishes and Alix's style, get it.

Amazing flourishes! Not easy and takes time to learn; just have to practice.

The flourishes look amazing! Although it can be a little difficult to follow at times, after practicing you can master it.

The flourishes are really cool which is why I wanted to learn them but the videos are tough to follow. I only wanted to learn "Calcifer" but the 2nd angle is pointless; it's not over the shoulder, it's behind the elbow so you cant see what's happening at all. The intro move the "kodak opener" is covered slowly and in detail in all 3 flourishes but the rest of the flourish is just glossed over. If you want to learn these you have got to put in the extra time and effort just to understand what's happening. But hey you get what you pay for.

Amazing. These are challenging at first but they are certainly fun to practice and to do! Great work!

This is difficult but extremely rewarding which makes for an excellent combination. I recommend it for sure!

The flourishes are cool, but the tutorial is extremely difficult to understand and follow.

For only a dollar, this is definitely worth buying. Though it is a bit hard to follow at times, the moves are really nice and quite simple.

3 awesome moves for 1 buck is really worth it. Although the tutorials are not the best, you still can master them after practicing.
