LOGINto earn pointsThere's not much to this. It's an easy trick for a very young magician to do in front of the family which, in and of itself, is not a bad thing because it will give the youngster some practical experience in performing, but it's not something I'd do for a more skeptical audience.
Springfield, Massachusetts • Apr 27th, 2021Tried it out on a couple people. They all said something like "Oh, I know that one" or "Wait, I know how you did that". Utterly embarrassing. I was pretty much preforming a trick that should be in a cheap kids' magic kit. Not recommended.
Oakley CA • Apr 28th, 2020Even though a lot of people have found the explanation just by watching the performance, I still think this is useful for a beginner, probably not to learn sleights but patter when delivering a trick which is a huge part of being magician.
USA • Nov 28th, 2019This trick in and of itself is pretty bad. People can normally figure it out instantly. In reality, it was a good idea, but bad execution. However, if I was to work on it, it could become a fun little prediction effect. Eg, instead of just cutting the cards and flipping over the top and bottom, you could do a force from the top, and a force from the bottom, and then you now have a pretty good prediction effect.
The Earth • Mar 6th, 2017An ok trick, only recommended for beginners. If you are a hardcore magician, I wouldn't recommend this trick. It is way too easy to figure out, even with young kids.
Taipei, Taipei • Oct 25th, 2016I figured it out the first time watching the trailer but I downloaded it anyway. I do not recommend this, my spectators said it was terrible and wanted a better trick!
Austrailia • Mar 24th, 2013Why are so many people hating this trick!!?? Yeah, it might be a little easy to figure out but it's an amazing trick!
USA • Mar 22nd, 2013Great trick! It is simple and easy to work out and is good for beginners!
Australia • Mar 20th, 2013It's a very good trick for beginners and kids but not recommended for anyone who really wants to amaze people. It's okay but not amazing.
Australia • Mar 20th, 2013I do not like this at all. I don't even know why it's on The Wire. I'm happy I didn't have to pay for this.
Australia • Mar 2nd, 2013This trick is really simple and easy for beginners. People I've shown this to were not amazed. They said "show us the better one! I know how to do that" I got some ideas from this trick though, so it's okay.
Philippines • Dec 12th, 2012Figured it out before I even looked at the tutorial. Don't think anyone above the age of 8 is getting fooled by it. Nice idea though.
UK • Oct 25th, 2012I don't see anyone getting fooled or amazed by this trick. I'm afraid it might be a video for youtube, not the Wire platform.
UK • Sep 25th, 2012This is good for beginners!
England • Aug 29th, 2012I wouldn't use this trick as it is more for the people starting out in magic.
For all those people saying it is too easy and pointless, it probably is, but that is likely to be from the point of view of an advanced or an intermediate magician, what do you expect for free?
UK • Aug 24th, 2012Great trick, but it is very simple yet very effective!
England • Aug 14th, 2012Really? I know how the trick is done and it is so simple. It's free, which I always like, which bumped it up to 2 stars.
Planet earth • Aug 2nd, 2012Its too easy and it's a bit pointless. I would never use this trick.
USA • Jul 28th, 2012A little too simple.
America • Jul 11th, 2012I understand what he was trying to do here but it makes no sense. I watched the performance and instantly knew how it was done. This is a common trick. The tutorial was terrible as well. If you're going to put out a non-original trick, at least make a some-what okay tutorial. I easily made my own variations of this trick and made it ten times better. This was terrible a complete waste of time and space!
USA • Jul 6th, 2012Well it's an okay trick, good that it's free! Maybe try and think of some better tricks though because it is a bit impractical. But well done!
London • Jun 13th, 2012Not original, easy to figure out, worst trick yet.
USA • Jun 11th, 2012Too easy to understand, the trick is not good at all, and I don't like the way you explain it.
UK • Jun 7th, 2012His performance isn't good, it isn't explained well and most importantly, the trick isn't good.
I've seen many 'Wire rejections' on YouTube, and I don't understand why they would reject those (fairly decent) tricks, but allow this.
It's NOT original, and it's not even well explained.
I'm just glad it's free and no one paid for this rubbish.
Staffordshire, UK • May 29th, 2012No offense or anyting but I think it is not original, too easy, and easy to figure out. At least you didn't put a price for it. I also don't know how it is on the top charts! Next time post something that is original!
USA • May 28th, 2012Very good method and idea, the effect is very amazing. Great for free!
Germany • May 25th, 2012I like this, it's kind of cool, but any person that pays attention to exactly what you're doing, will easily figure this out. I saw the video on top and I already knew how it was done. I just downloaded it because I wanted to show my brother, but either way, the idea is very nice.
new york • May 25th, 2012It's way too easy to understand, and you teach it really badly!
UK • May 23rd, 2012One step backwards from Gemini Twins, absolutely terrible.
US • May 22nd, 2012Not worth buying. It's been on Youtube for about 2 years, and the reactions great for that long of a trick. It's hard for the spectator to follow sometimes.
California • May 21st, 2012A very nice effect, although simple, and very effective.
England • May 21st, 2012The idea in my eyes, is not original. This has been on youtube for a while. Plus I have performed this to spectators and they have completely told me how the trick was done. I didn't even need to look at the tutorial download to see the inner workings of the trick...
England • May 21st, 2012It's a nice effect but is a bit too simple.
UK • May 21st, 2012I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't for free because I don't even need to watch the tutorial video to perform this trick! Trick is "simply too simple"!
Portugal • May 20th, 2012I like the idea although i'm glad i did not pay for it, as it is easy to figure out, although your explanation is in good detail so well done.
UK • May 20th, 2012Wonderful idea, I think. Is it the hardest trick in the world to figure out? No. But it's simple and direct and solid. And in a way, it's an improvement over the basic cut force because you've 'confused' things with two cards, thus making it harder to 'remember' which pack was originally on top of which. Well done!
Las Vegas • May 19th, 2012Very nice trick! Definitely using!
California • May 19th, 2012This is a solid trick which is good if your spectator isn't very skeptical or watching you very closely. I've seen this principle used many, many times before but it is still a pretty good trick, and I threw in an extra star because it's free.
New York • May 19th, 2012Like the idea, but the method is too obvious, it's the first thing they think of.
Wales • May 19th, 2012Nice. Very easy trick.
Philippines • May 19th, 2012Easy to do. Nice kids magic :)
Indonesia • May 19th, 2012Brilliant. I recommend this to every one.
Kendal, UK • May 18th, 2012Good trick. Simple effect but gets nice reactions, I like it.
England • May 18th, 2012Well this is an easy trick, but it is good because it seems harder than it is. So well done, keep it up!
