There's not much to this. It's an easy trick for a very young magician to do in front of the family which, in and of itself, is not a bad thing because it will give the youngster some practical experience in performing, but it's not something I'd do for a more skeptical audience.

Tried it out on a couple people. They all said something like "Oh, I know that one" or "Wait, I know how you did that". Utterly embarrassing. I was pretty much preforming a trick that should be in a cheap kids' magic kit. Not recommended.

Even though a lot of people have found the explanation just by watching the performance, I still think this is useful for a beginner, probably not to learn sleights but patter when delivering a trick which is a huge part of being magician.

This trick in and of itself is pretty bad. People can normally figure it out instantly. In reality, it was a good idea, but bad execution. However, if I was to work on it, it could become a fun little prediction effect. Eg, instead of just cutting the cards and flipping over the top and bottom, you could do a force from the top, and a force from the bottom, and then you now have a pretty good prediction effect.

The EarthMar 6th, 2017

An ok trick, only recommended for beginners. If you are a hardcore magician, I wouldn't recommend this trick. It is way too easy to figure out, even with young kids.

Taipei, TaipeiOct 25th, 2016

I figured it out the first time watching the trailer but I downloaded it anyway. I do not recommend this, my spectators said it was terrible and wanted a better trick!

AustrailiaMar 24th, 2013

Why are so many people hating this trick!!?? Yeah, it might be a little easy to figure out but it's an amazing trick!

USAMar 22nd, 2013

Great trick! It is simple and easy to work out and is good for beginners!

AustraliaMar 20th, 2013

It's a very good trick for beginners and kids but not recommended for anyone who really wants to amaze people. It's okay but not amazing.

AustraliaMar 20th, 2013

I do not like this at all. I don't even know why it's on The Wire. I'm happy I didn't have to pay for this.

AustraliaMar 2nd, 2013

This trick is really simple and easy for beginners. People I've shown this to were not amazed. They said "show us the better one! I know how to do that" I got some ideas from this trick though, so it's okay.

PhilippinesDec 12th, 2012

Figured it out before I even looked at the tutorial. Don't think anyone above the age of 8 is getting fooled by it. Nice idea though.

UKOct 25th, 2012

I don't see anyone getting fooled or amazed by this trick. I'm afraid it might be a video for youtube, not the Wire platform.

UKSep 25th, 2012

This is good for beginners!

EnglandAug 29th, 2012

I wouldn't use this trick as it is more for the people starting out in magic.

For all those people saying it is too easy and pointless, it probably is, but that is likely to be from the point of view of an advanced or an intermediate magician, what do you expect for free?

UKAug 24th, 2012

Great trick, but it is very simple yet very effective!

EnglandAug 14th, 2012

Really? I know how the trick is done and it is so simple. It's free, which I always like, which bumped it up to 2 stars.

Planet earthAug 2nd, 2012

Its too easy and it's a bit pointless. I would never use this trick.

USAJul 28th, 2012

A little too simple.

AmericaJul 11th, 2012

I understand what he was trying to do here but it makes no sense. I watched the performance and instantly knew how it was done. This is a common trick. The tutorial was terrible as well. If you're going to put out a non-original trick, at least make a some-what okay tutorial. I easily made my own variations of this trick and made it ten times better. This was terrible a complete waste of time and space!

USAJul 6th, 2012

Well it's an okay trick, good that it's free! Maybe try and think of some better tricks though because it is a bit impractical. But well done!

LondonJun 13th, 2012

Not original, easy to figure out, worst trick yet.

USAJun 11th, 2012

Too easy to understand, the trick is not good at all, and I don't like the way you explain it.

UKJun 7th, 2012

His performance isn't good, it isn't explained well and most importantly, the trick isn't good.

I've seen many 'Wire rejections' on YouTube, and I don't understand why they would reject those (fairly decent) tricks, but allow this.

It's NOT original, and it's not even well explained.

I'm just glad it's free and no one paid for this rubbish.

Staffordshire, UKMay 29th, 2012

No offense or anyting but I think it is not original, too easy, and easy to figure out. At least you didn't put a price for it. I also don't know how it is on the top charts! Next time post something that is original!

USAMay 28th, 2012

Very good method and idea, the effect is very amazing. Great for free!

GermanyMay 25th, 2012

I like this, it's kind of cool, but any person that pays attention to exactly what you're doing, will easily figure this out. I saw the video on top and I already knew how it was done. I just downloaded it because I wanted to show my brother, but either way, the idea is very nice.

new yorkMay 25th, 2012

It's way too easy to understand, and you teach it really badly!

UKMay 23rd, 2012

One step backwards from Gemini Twins, absolutely terrible.

USMay 22nd, 2012

Not worth buying. It's been on Youtube for about 2 years, and the reactions great for that long of a trick. It's hard for the spectator to follow sometimes.

CaliforniaMay 21st, 2012

A very nice effect, although simple, and very effective.

EnglandMay 21st, 2012

The idea in my eyes, is not original. This has been on youtube for a while. Plus I have performed this to spectators and they have completely told me how the trick was done. I didn't even need to look at the tutorial download to see the inner workings of the trick...

EnglandMay 21st, 2012

It's a nice effect but is a bit too simple.

UKMay 21st, 2012

I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't for free because I don't even need to watch the tutorial video to perform this trick! Trick is "simply too simple"!

PortugalMay 20th, 2012

I like the idea although i'm glad i did not pay for it, as it is easy to figure out, although your explanation is in good detail so well done.

UKMay 20th, 2012

Wonderful idea, I think. Is it the hardest trick in the world to figure out? No. But it's simple and direct and solid. And in a way, it's an improvement over the basic cut force because you've 'confused' things with two cards, thus making it harder to 'remember' which pack was originally on top of which. Well done!

Las VegasMay 19th, 2012

Very nice trick! Definitely using!

CaliforniaMay 19th, 2012

This is a solid trick which is good if your spectator isn't very skeptical or watching you very closely. I've seen this principle used many, many times before but it is still a pretty good trick, and I threw in an extra star because it's free.

New YorkMay 19th, 2012

Like the idea, but the method is too obvious, it's the first thing they think of.

WalesMay 19th, 2012

Nice. Very easy trick.

PhilippinesMay 19th, 2012

Easy to do. Nice kids magic :)

IndonesiaMay 19th, 2012

Brilliant. I recommend this to every one.

Kendal, UKMay 18th, 2012

Good trick. Simple effect but gets nice reactions, I like it.

EnglandMay 18th, 2012

Well this is an easy trick, but it is good because it seems harder than it is. So well done, keep it up!

EnglandMay 18th, 2012
