Back In Time

Ed Ellis

Digital Instruction $4.95

Back in Time has been in my arsenal for years. It's time to release this simple, yet powerful effect. A spectator signs their name on a selected playing card. Within moments the signature vanishes from the card, yet the magician is able to make it reappear as well. Before being handed out as a souvenir, the magician performs a color change to the back of the playing card, thus leaving the spectator with an awesome souvenir.

I gotta say I was real skeptical with this trick. However, looking through the mechanics of the trick and the subtleties; this trick is GREAT. Just a slight tweak at the start and now the trick has been added to my effects to perform regularly for sure. Not a magician fooler, definitely a laymen miracle! Easy to perform, practical to use. I love it.

Under normal circumstances, a signed card distinguishes itself from every other card in the deck--and existence. That is, until your completely ERASE IT! It is a crazy routine and defies the idea of 'permanence'. The video itself is 8 minutes of crystal clear instructions and all nuances explained with everything you need clearly visible. At points, he explains some different handlings that may work better for you to achieve the effect. AND to top it off, the audience gets a souvenir at the end of the trick. 'Back in Time' is a very different sort of color change routine and definitely worth your time and effort!

I've watched Ed use this for the past few years and it destroys people. They get to see their own signature vanish from a card and then it gets put back on moments later. As a kicker the signed card in play then does a color change from red to blue and they keep the souvenir. This is definitely going in my own arsenal as well.
