I was not born with magical gifts, nor was I raised in some remote cave being brought up in the ways sorcery. I was first introduced to the magician's art from my brother, Samuel. I was a freshman in high school at the time and my brother had been a magician for a number of years at this point. When I asked him years later why he taught me magic, he said that he saw that I had a genuine interest, unlike someone who only wishes to learn the secrets behind the illusions. He could tell that I would put forth the effort to really learn and master the techniques. I would say he was right, seeing how I am still performing magic today and probably with a greater love for it than when I began.

I have spent a very significant amount of my life learning and practicing the art of magic, and I am pleased with every minute that I did. It is important to note though, there is always more to learn in magic, so I will never really ever be done learning. Needless to say, that will not be a problem. After all, nothing makes me happier than learning new magic.
