My name is Elmer Johnsen I'm a 16 year old boy from Norway. I've been in to magic for about 10 years and my speciality is close up card magic and card cheating.
How did you first get started in magic?
It started when I was about seven years, my uncle taught a very simple card trick and I liked that. But I didn't really start before I was 12 or so. So I watched a lot of Pen and Teller fool us and I found out about Ellusionist and Theory11 after a while.
Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?
In magic I have to say Dan and Dave since the first dvd I got was The Trilogy.
bu there are some other names I'd like to mention: Daniel Madison, Zach Mueller, Jason England, Darwin Ortiz and last but not least Michael Vincent.
In Cardistry It's also Dan and Dave because of the same reason as above.
But there are some names I want to mention here also: Andrei Jikh, Michael James, AVIV, Tobias Levin, Oliver Søgård, Patrick Varnevas, Zach Mueller and Nikolaj Pedersen
