I have performed magic as a career for over 6 years for many clients.
I also have consulted and workshopped material with other magicians and film directors in regards to magic effects.

How did you first get started in magic?
If I hadn't picked up those trick decks from that dollar store, I never would have started my career in magic.
Now I'm sick of card tricks and will most likely sell them to you guys.
I may publish some of my signature routines if I feel like it...but I much rather perform at private events, do theater shows, and meet people.
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
Don't go on youtube and expect to be a genius when performing in real life.
Go and find an organization like the International Brotherhood of Magicians or the Society of American Magicians and get mentors.
You can go much farther than being self taught like I am.
Those organizations have improved my work significantly due to the real world feedback I get unlike feedback from 12 year old youtube trolls
How often do you practice - how do you keep your skills (and mind) sharp?
I perform when the chance arises and work out.
A healthy performer is a good performer.
The last thing I want is to die on stage.
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
At first, watching other performers...but please. Don't do that.
Do the things you love aside from magic.
Examples for me would be watching inspirational comedians, speakers, tv shows, zone out, psychic mediums, ghosts...basically the weird stuff in life.
