Oh no, you forgot your cards and your coins and people are demanding magic... what are you going to do? All you have to do is take out your iPhone or iPod, and you can do a miracle. This trick is small but plays huge!

You show that you have a video recording of yourself riffling down the deck, and you want them to take a screenshot anytime in the video to get a card.

They go to the picture they took, and then they turn off the phone. You can instantly name the card they are thinking of.

- Instantly resets

- One set up and you're done.

Hope you enjoy!

Summary; I was looking for some effects that use nothing but a phone without an app. I am a card forcing freak so I am always looking for new creative forces, so I was EXTREMELY excited to see this! However, this will need slight improvement. Here is the full review (Exposé style): Price:5/5 Can't beat free! Quality:4/5 The audio can get very low at some points, but the lighting, and camera view are really solid. Effect:4/5 As I said I am biased, because card forces are my favorite effects. This one using something you will ALWAYS carry on you. This also gives you the sense of being a "modern era" magician. An improvement I would suggest is having the force reveal appear in the background of the video, so you can watch your spectators "pick a card". Trust me when I say spectators plus technology can raise problems. They can press the wrong button, swipe when you don't want them to, Etc. Its just a good idea to watch your spectators. Method: 4/5 Kind of easy to figure out if you are familiar with iPhones. A suggestion would be making a special album for this trick. So you will end clean. All in all it is a great trick for a great price. I would suggest downloading!

Really good idea but it is a bit risky because if someone knows something about phones they may figure it out.

Really artistic and clever trick. I love the story!

This trick is simple and easy, but great to fool your friends and family. The only flaw is they might look further in the pictures.

This is a really fun effect with a fun instructional video to match. Its very clever and a neat spin on predicting a spectator's chosen card.

I was actually EXTREMELY impressed with this! Gerald is funny and very clever. The effect itself is super easy to perform and a good start for ANY mentalism/mind reading type effect. Only downside is that someone may figure out the effect if they understand how screenshots in iPhones ACTUALLY work. Other then that, it is a great effect and worth learning if you want something that uses nothing but your phone!

I perform this at school a lot, because I don't usually carry around cards. Nothing to hide. Practically self-working.

The effect is smart and well thought out, providing your spectator doesn't think to hard on this or swipe left or right immediately after you reveal their card to them. Overall, great trick.

Australia • Jul 12th, 2013

It is free, so I cannot complain. The trailer was very unclear but interesting so I downloaded it. While the EFFECT idea is great, the method is weak. If this was performed for me it would not have fooled me. Anyone who knows just a bit about phones may think that something fishy was going on, or that it wasn't really a free choice.

It's just too simple.
