Covington, WaMy name is Jace Tandeski. Magic helps me keep my sanity. I am always looking for inspiration, but until then, I'm gonna just do what comes to me.
How did you first get started in magic?
I saw a man named Criss Angel on A&E. His illusions were beautiful, and what he has done to the art of magic was amazing. Though he has been slipping, he inspired my magic. I performed my first non-professional show on Christmas Eve, 2009.
How did you first get started in cardistry?
Cardistry for me was something small for me in the beginning. It was just something to keep my hands busy. I got more serious when I bought the Trilogy by Dan and Dave. I enjoyed performing Eko, Molecule 4, and the Carnahan fan. I keeping learning from Zach Mueller's Fontaine Carditry EP. I also gained experience from free cardistry downloads here on The Wire.
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
I've focused mainly on my card magic when I try to create. I've always taken the effect I want, and I work backwards to create the effect. It's also how I've figured out other card tricks from YouTube.
