Word Search
Josh Burch
This is a unique book test that uses a single page from a crossword puzzle. It takes up minimum pocket space requires no table and can be examined afterwards. This is the perfect piece of mentalism for walk around situations but can also e used in a parlor setting or possibly on stage.
Using a random list of clues the participant creates an image in their mind. That image is then revealed as the word search is solved. A name is also freely chosen in a list of names and that too is revealed hidden in the word search. Because both of the predictions are cleverly hidden in the puzzle you can freely show the prediction before anything is chosen, similar to an open prediction.
This is a unique piece of mentalism that strings the participant along a nice bread trail that cleans itself up as it goes leaving them completley perplexed and blown away.

Unbelievable! I love this trick. I have shown to many, many people, and got superb reactions to it! But, the good news is that it works in other languages too! I simply translated the words to hungarian without problem. Recommended that you learn this trick, 5 stars!
Hungary • Jan 2nd, 2015What you see in the trailer is spot on. This is a great mentalism piece, it's just so clean, and has a great kicker at the end. During the whole performance there is always some participation by the spectators, which leads the whole audience to be amazed at the end, not just one or 2 people. There aren't any funny moves in this, and there's no difficult sleight of hand or anything like that involved as well. One of the things that I love about it is it doesn't take up all the room in your pockets, like the description says pocket space is minimum. Josh also talks about ways to do this on a stage/parlor setting. Another plus is the reset time takes literally about 5 seconds, and you could do it in front of the audience (although you can't do it to the same audience twice) At the end, everything is examinable, and they can keep the word search. Great job on this Josh! 5 out of 5!
