The simplistic nature of the gimmick and the overall routine is great! However, as another reviewer pointed out, the most optimal playing cards for construction are blue backed bicycle cards. Don't let this deter you! The visual aspects and simplicity outweigh the con.

Very nice! A quick, visual effect that be used at any time during a routine. What makes this great is you can repeat the effect 2-3 times in a slightly different fashion without taking away from the what spectator sees!

I love this effect! I performed it at my school today and it got amazing reactions. THEY SAW it on BOTH SIDES. The only thing is that they cannot examine the card and I use Monarchs for my usual performances.

Justin performed this effect at the Edmonton Magic Club tonight and what a great effect. Multiple magicians, some very close up were all blown away by how effective this presentation is. The video demonstrates this effect pretty well, but to see it up close in person was baffling to several of us, one even said it was a total "Mindf--k" (he was seated the closest). A $4 effect that you would easily pay $10 or more in most magic shops. If you perform close up, this effect is easy to learn and you should definitely consider adding it to your repertoire. Great job Justin.

It is a good trick, however it only works with Bicycle cards and I've switched to Phoenix decks.
