Oil & Water is a classic. I prefer more impromptu versions with more examinable gimmicks, but this works for beginners in a jiffy.

An easy to do trick, with a great premise. Although not impromptu - I like your way of achieving the desired effect. I think the trick's a definite fooler for laymen, and can blow some dust off a familiar concept magicians know, and should use more in my opinion.

I feel like the second phase of the routine could be more deceptive but overall I think it's a great idea. I love logical oil and water routines and I can see some people getting a real kick out of this.
