Robstown, TexasHi,I'm Michael Lopez and I Love doing Cardistry and Magic.It sucks because I live in Robstown,Texas there is like absolutely no one who does magic down here.So when I do magic they see like real magic.Most of the times I get good reactions.
How did you first get started in cardistry?
When I first went to my magic shop.The owner came up to me and asked if I knew Dan and Dave Buck?Then I was clueless,but then he pulled out The System by Dan and Dave buck.That's when I was bit by the cardistry bug if you want to say that.
Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?
Dan & Dave Buck,Zach Muller,Justin Miller,Dynamo,David Blaine,Dai Vernon,Jay Sankey,Jose Morales,Zomb Tien,Singapore Cardistry,Sean O.,FernandoP1 and that's all I can think of.
How did you first get started in magic?
It was one rainy night and I was bored out of my mind.I didn't know what to do,but lay on my bedroom floor.As I was doing that I looked under my bed and noticed a Criss Angel magic set was there.I took it out and popped open the dvd and put it in.I was blown away by the stuff and that's when I got bit by the magic bug.
If you could have dinner with any magician, past or present, who would that be and why?
I'm sorry but i'm picking two of them.The two magicians would be Dai Vernon and Dynamo Magician Impossible.I would be so Thankful I would cry of meeting them.Especially Vernon's sleight of hand I would go nuts to see him in action.Dynamo I Love his moments the way he gets peoples' attention he's really great.
