If you could have dinner with any magician, past or present, who would that be and why?
Jason England, mostly so I can find out where he lives and steal some of his books. ;)
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
I usually have a basic idea of something really cool I would want to do that would be a really cool magic trick. Then I work at it to make my vision a reality.
How often do you practice - how do you keep your skills (and mind) sharp?
24/7 to be honest. Whenever I'm at home sitting around and just watching TV I usually have a deck of cards in my hand. Either fiddling around with them, or practicing a routine.
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
Practice, Practice, Practice. It took me almost a year to get some effects I learned to look decent enough to perform with confidence.
