Nuriootpa, AuHey Everyone. I'm Nick Crockett. A magician from Australia. I have been performing magic for 5 years. And I love it. I prefer to perform card tricks but anything that fools someone is great.
What advice would you give to new performers just starting today?
Practice and never stop practising. I practice at least 1 hour every day. But most days I spend 2-3 hours practising magic.
How did you first get started in magic?
When My brother got in to card tricks I was very curious about magic. He then taught me some tricks and that's when I started my love for magic.
How did you first get started in cardistry?
I started cardistry about a year ago because I wanted to learn some fancy false cuts. So to this day I have created and performed many cardistry moves.
What is your creative process - how do you come up with new effects and ideas?
The way I come up with ideas are when I have a deck of cards in my hand I play around with them. After a while I have come up with an effect or new flourish. And I keep practising it.
