Gosport, GbMy name is Ollie. I've been doing magic for the past few years. My favourite type of magic to perform is card magic and mentalism. I also like to freak people out with some sideshow effects. I try to make sure people have fun with magic and make sure they laugh and engage with the trick as much as possible.
How did you first get started in magic?
I started young when I got my first magic set for my birthday however after just doing simple tricks for friends as a child I never really had the determination to learn more. Which artists have inspired you the most in your work thus far?
The artists that have inspired me most with my mentalism effects are Derren Brown, Andy Nyman and Colin McLeod. Simply because their material is so hard hitting but at the same time the methods are quite simple which gives you more time to focus on the presentation and making it as engaging and entertaining as possible.
