Very cool and detailed trick! I fooled my family with this one! Thanks for making this free!
USA Texas • Jul 24th, 2020Sometimes I wish I was an arts-n-crafty type so I could run around doing cool tricks like Wayne Houchin's "One Needle" or this one. I might never actually use this one myself but I really like Ryan's thinking and teaching here. At the end of the tutorial there is an idea for a trick with a miniature card. It was mentioned almost as an afterthought but vanishing a chosen card from a deck and having its miniature twin left in the box would make a nice little effect. Without a visible penetration there is no need to present the box for inspection. Well done. Extra star for price. .
Santa Fe, NM • Jul 3rd, 2017Really nice concept, good detailed tutorial and very cool that you made it free!
UK • Sep 21st, 2015Very nice and detailed tutorial, with awesome ideas for multiple uses. I'd give it an easy rating for performance, but making the gimmick can bring it to difficult (at least for me). I recommend viewing this since it'll give you some nice info.
Egypt • Dec 8th, 2014I like this. Thanks for making this free. It has given me ideas.
New Jersey • Jul 3rd, 2013This is too good to be free. The concept is really good even though the gimmick might be a bit hard to make. Of course, you can't hand the box out for inspection but it is a nice little trick you can perform and it gets great reactions. I would say download it right now.
India • Jun 19th, 2013Good gimmick, good explanation, but the box can't be inspected and the gimmick is a little bit difficult to make. I give this a bonus star because it's free!
France • May 23rd, 2013I like the idea, but during performances it's quite common that the spectator will ask to examine the box for holes. But it's free and it certainly inspired me in the construction of my own gimmicks.
United Kingdom • Apr 6th, 2013The gimmick is a bit difficult to make (for me) but the trick looks amazing at the end.
Peru • Mar 7th, 2013Amazing!! Just download it and I have to say, I was impressed. Good job.
Argentina • Feb 12th, 2013Hard to make gimmick but in the end, if made properly, it is a great effect. Might need to make a 3.0. I'm working on that right now.
England • Feb 4th, 2013The gimmick takes time to make and is very elaborate. It certainly gets your creative juices flowing!
U.K. • Feb 2nd, 2013Wow, this is a well thought out gimmick. The effect itself is wonderful, but the explanation is what tips the scale on this one. This is by far the best non-professional tutorial I have ever seen. All details are covered in a logical manner and the entire process is explained step by step. On top of this, Sowa has a very comfortable voice making the explanation simple and entertaining to follow.
Norway • Jan 30th, 2013Simple and a creative gimmick you can make yourself. It will take time to make but he puts in every little detail you need to know to make it right!
Canada • Jan 28th, 2013This effect is a nice trick. Very clever method and I recommend checking it out. The gimmick is pretty involved but worth it. Plus it's free. What do you have to lose?!
USA • Jan 26th, 2013I was shown this quite a long time ago when Kevin was playing around with this idea. Everyone who knows me can tell that I am addicted to card box magic and I have been working on this penetration plot too. This version of the classic plot is very easy to perform and more important, really eye-popping.
It rarely happens that a very VISUAL, PRACTICAL and all around AWESOME concept is released for FREE. So, grab this and make one up!!:)
Albania • Jan 22nd, 2013This is absolutely outstanding.
Kentucky • Jan 22nd, 2013Simple little utility device which is easy to use and is quite clever. Best of all is that it's free. Nice job!
Singapore • Jan 20th, 2013Great effect. Great tutorial video. Well thought out, well put together.
Toronto, Canada • Jan 20th, 2013I cant believe that this is free! This is will go right in to my personal repertoire.
Sweden • Jan 18th, 2013This is amazing; it takes long to make but totally worth it.
Ipswich, United Kingdom • Jan 18th, 2013Amazing effect! Very clever method.
United States • Jan 18th, 2013This trick is definitely worth a look, if only to gain some fresh thoughts on an old trick. It uses a clever gimmick that's been well thought out and can easily be made from a standard bicycle box. This had to have been worth a couple of dollars, but it's free. Your work is appreciated, Sir.
Blackpool (UK) • Jan 18th, 2013Fantastic idea. I'm very impressed!
Chicago • Jan 17th, 2013Very good looking effect, but the trailer looks like it was made in 2007. He just needs to make it a little more modern looking to increase the amount of people downloading this effect. Good effect, but bad trailer.
USA • Jan 17th, 2013Awesome! I can see you put a lot of effort in this. 25 minutes of instruction (it's not the best quality, but it's good) I'd say buy it, but it's free! The only downside is that the gimmick takes long to make, but it's worth it.
Belgium • Jan 17th, 2013THIS IS REALLY GOOD! I really like the method even though at first I didn't like the construction of the gimmick. It is obvious that Ryan has put a lot of thought into this and he could've easily sold this but he made it free. He really goes in depth with his teaching, which I really like. Great Job.
United States • Jan 17th, 2013This very little effect is so impractical to perform! I don't think that I'm going to take 30 min to make this gimmick. Speaking of the gimmick, not everybody has the right box for this trick - just a warning.
California • Jan 17th, 2013Wow! Is this free? I can't believe my eyes! AWESOME!
