A spectator selects any card and signs it, then you fairly and openly place it inside the card box before closing the flap. The signed card is now trapped inside. Another card is then chosen to be the 'saw' card and this card is inserted into the box via a slit across the width of the box on the top side. The 'saw' card is pushed down, but stops when it hits the signed card inside the box. You then apply more force and the 'saw' card cuts right through the signed card and comes out of the bottom of the box very visually, through another slit on the bottom. The box is shown to the spectators from all angles and the 'saw' card is pushed up and down, proving it has really sliced through the selected card. Finally, the 'saw' card is removed and when the card box is opened up, somehow the signed card inside is completely undamaged, with no cuts, bends or folds at all.

United States • Dec 29th, 2016Very impressive effect. Great way to end an ambitious card routine. Can be used as an effect on its own and I think if you tell the story of the lady being sawed in half it works better with a queen being sawed in the box. I've had great reactions with this effect.
