Ambush is a concise and sleek two-handed cut that feels good in the hands. It also revolves around using a simple but versatile one-handed cut which is taught in this tutorial.

Ambush should be relatively easy for most cardists equipped with the basics of cardistry. That being said, there is a little bit of knack to performing this flourish, so try to focus on getting a good feel for the fluidity and rhythm of this flourish; it should feel mostly like a continuous motion when performed properly.

*NOTE* At 7:49 I curl my index finger underneath the packet to flip it over, this is fine, but I thought I'd bring to your attention that you can also use your index finger to reach over to the opposite side of the packet to flip it, which is actually how I perform the closer. Refer to 8:35 where I use this motion.
