I've been exposed to magic since a very young age and never really thought to pick up the art until one day I saw Dynamo on TV, and being a highly introverted art nerd, I decided that magic was just what I needed. I bought my first deck of cards and my journey began!

Presentation-wise it would be Daniel Garcia, Yif and Justin Flom simply because they bring together all of the niceness in magic, which essentially is what I think it needs. Effects-wise would be Eugene Burger, Jay Sankey and Derren Brown, their presentation and execution skills really sell the art of magic in it's purest form in my opinion.

I don't really ever "practice" so to speak. I always have a deck of cards or a coin in my hand and tend to find myself unconsciously and repeatedly doing the sleights that I feel I need to work on the most.

Do whatever you feel suits your style and your persona. Simple. And it's always good to have a role model but don't be another Dynamo or Criss Angel, magic already has that so we want another YOU!
