Come on guys: SMOKIN' ACES ! Why? Because it's smokin' with action, bullets, and cardistry supreme (thanks to the Magic Technical Advisors: Paul Wilson and Dan & Dave Buck). Really got me back into cards again.

My favorite is "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" and it's only for two scenes, the first is when Albert is doing a "magic show" at the nursing home, and Rance Holloway will ruin the trick because it seeth him conviction, later seen as Albert confronts his trick Rance by aruinar and the latter explains why he did it. The other scene in the movie is when Albert realizes who was that old man who ruined the trick (Rance Holloway), and asks him to make magic together, while it teaches asks Why ?, and wanted to be a magician Albert do not know that answer, then Rance takes the appearance of a dove inside a saltshaker and Albert is surprised, and Rance said that's why you do magic to create that illusion in your audience. Maybe it's not the best movie of all time magic, but she made me question why I do magic? and if I do well or not, besides that always reminds us that the most important thing is to convey the illusion that everything is possible to the public. For the rest is somewhat comical the movie so out of the ordinary, my English is not perfect but I hope to be understood. Here it's the links for the escences (are in spanish): First Scene: www.youtube.com /watch?v=_mv8EN44H6o Second Scene: www.youtube.com /watch?v=Pthkf_X-AGs?

I really liked Now You See ME because it was the first proper magician movie that I had seen and it's cool to see how many people enjoyed and have gotten inspired to learn magic because of it.

I am in Australia and have had to download the Wizard Wars illegally, I mean MAGICALLY, just to watch them. And because my children never sleep, I have to watch the show with my 3 kids, so it turns into a bit of an event. I really do enjoy the combining of the random items to force imagination. Hated The Prestige.

I love the poetic delicacy and subtlety that is brought to the table in The Illusionist. This movie has changed the way that I think about magic as a visual and performance art forever.

Deceptive Practice: The Mysteries and Mentors of Ricky Jay, because no other film captures the history of the greats while anchored to one of the modern greats--Ricky Jay.
