My first trick was the coin into glass of water...went on mad search for a flashlight after I was taught this

The first trick I learned was taught to me by my grandfather. I don't know what it was called. He had 4 pieces of paper, about 1/2 inch square. He licked them and stuck two of them to a knife and the other two to the other side. Wiped them off and them magically made them appear back on the knife. Great trick.

Mine was the thumb-coming-off-the finger-trick...thing. It's close to my heart because my grandfather showed me when I was a kid and that's what lit the spark. And man, I still kill with that trick to this day! My cats are so gullible.

It was Coin Con, got it at the Disneyland magic shop.

The invisible deck. I saw Dynamo performing the effect for Wyclef Jean and i wanted to learn the effect.

First effect I learned was how to drop a large metal ring down a length of chain that magically became tied to the chain before falling to the floor. I carried it with me everywhere.

The crumpled to un-crumpled dollar bill for a vending machine. Took years of training, but I could finally do it to get a candy bar at a moment's notice.
